Savanna Gold Trend — XAUUSD Trend Continuation EA for MetaTrader 5
Savanna waits for gold to break out of its recent range in the direction of the higher timeframe trend, then adds to the position as the move extends — up to four positions per move.
The distinction that matters: Savanna pyramids into winners. It never averages down. Each added position gets its own stop loss from its own real fill price, so the additions cannot turn a good trade into an account-sized problem.
No martingale. No grid.
How it trades
- Symbol: XAUUSD (gold)
- Timeframe: any — it reads M5 and H1 internally
- Trend: direction is taken from the higher timeframe; range breaks against that trend are ignored
- Entry: breakout from the recent range, in the trend direction
- Scaling: up to four positions per move, added as the move proves itself
- Filter: ATR volatility filter keeps it out of dead conditions
Risk controls
- Every position gets a stop loss as soon as it is filled, placed from its real fill price
- Never averages down — additions only ever go on in the direction of profit
- Maximum of three separate moves per day by default

Author's results on unseen data, May to July 2026: 105 trades, 78.1% won, profit factor 2.29, net result $468.62 on a $1,615 starting deposit, maximum drawdown 7.95%.
