This policy explains what personal data MCP Automation collects and how we use it.

What we collect

  • Account data — name, email address and a hashed password when you register.
  • Order data — products purchased, amounts, payment method and payment references. Card details are processed by our payment providers (Stripe, PayFast) and never touch our servers.
  • License data — your license key, the MT5 account number you bind, and validation events (timestamp, IP address, result) generated when the Software checks its license.
  • Support data — the content of tickets and contact-form messages you send us.
  • Technical logs — server logs including IP addresses, kept for security and abuse prevention.

What we use it for

Delivering and validating licenses, processing payments, providing support, sending service notifications (update releases, expiry warnings, ticket replies, payment confirmations), and securing the service. We do not sell personal data and we do not send third-party marketing.

Legal basis

Performance of contract (delivering what you bought), legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention) and consent where required.

Retention

Account and order records are kept while your account exists and as required for tax and accounting. License validation logs are retained for the life of the license plus a reasonable audit period. You may request deletion of your account; we will remove personal data not required for legal record-keeping.

Sharing

Payment processors (Stripe, PayFast) receive the data needed to process your payment. Hosting infrastructure is provided by our hosting provider in the EU. We disclose data if legally compelled.

Cookies

We use a session cookie required for login and security (CSRF protection).

Advertising

Some public pages (the homepage, EA Store, blog and community) show ads served by Google AdSense. Checkout, cart, login and your customer portal never show ads.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. How Google uses information from sites that use its services is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@mcpautomation.io. EU/UK visitors have rights under GDPR; South African users under POPIA.
