Frequently asked

Can I use this on a $100 account?+
Yes, but $500 is strongly recommended. With $100 you must reduce RiskAmount proportionally — about $60 per trade. Smaller accounts compound slower and give less buffer for variance.
Does this work on currency pairs besides XAUUSD?+
No. The EA is hand-tuned to the volatility, range structure and session behaviour of gold. Running it on EURUSD or other pairs will produce poor results.
Can I use M5 or H1 timeframe instead of M15?+
No. M15 is required. The range-detection windows and breakout logic are calibrated for that timeframe.
What if my broker's XAUUSD spread is over 3 pips?+
You will lose edge fast. Switch to an ECN/Raw Spread account at RoboForex, IC Markets, Pepperstone or Exness Pro.
Do I need a VPS?+
Yes for serious trading. The EA only fires during the 02:00–06:00 server-time window — your terminal must be online for those hours every day.
Can I run Set A and Set B simultaneously?+
Yes, on separate charts with different magic numbers. Combine risk so total exposure stays within your account tolerance.
What is the difference between Set A, B, and C?+
All three target similar monthly profit (~$1,000 on a $500 account). Set B is the most balanced risk-reward and what we recommend.
Why is RiskAmount $300 on a $500 account?+
Because the stop-loss is tight (range-based), $300 represents a small actual price distance. Backtest before changing.
Will this guarantee profits?+
No. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Forex trading involves substantial risk of loss.
Is this FTMO / prop firm compatible?+
Yes. The 0.39% live drawdown is well under typical 5–10% prop firm daily/total drawdown limits.
