Each licence covers a set number of MT5 accounts — one for most products, 5 for Apex Drawdown Zero Lifetime, and no limit at all for Apex Unlimited. Every account you run the EA on takes one activation slot, and you manage those slots yourself.
Adding an account
1. Open Licenses in your client portal.
2. Under Activate on another MT5 account, enter the account number and press Add.
3. Start the EA on that account — validation succeeds immediately.
You do not have to do this in advance. While a slot is free, the first time the EA validates from a new account it takes the slot automatically.
Freeing a slot
When every slot is in use, adding another account is refused until you release one:
1. Open Licenses in your client portal.
2. Find the account in the activations table and press Release.
3. The slot is free straight away and can be used by any account.
Releasing an account stops the EA validating on it on its very next check, so only release an account you have finished with — a challenge you failed, a broker you have left, a funded account that has been closed. There is no limit on how often you can release and re-add.
Running out of slots
If you regularly need more accounts than your licence covers — several prop-firm challenges in parallel, for example — the Apex Unlimited licence has no cap. It is the same EA, the same lifetime updates and the same support; only the account limit differs. If you already own the Lifetime licence, contact us and you pay the difference rather than the full price.
