A validated, running EA that opens no trades is usually waiting by design. Check in order:
1. Algo Trading enabled? Toolbar button green, smiley icon on chart.
2. Already traded today? The EA takes at most one trade a day, and stops for the day after a win.
3. No qualified setup — if the day's session range never produces a qualified breakout, the EA sits out. Several quiet days in a row can be normal.
4. Session window and daily cutoff — outside the trading window the EA stands aside.
5. Spread filter — if the current spread exceeds MaxSpreadPoints, entries wait. Common at rollover (22:00 GMT).
6. Symbol/timeframe — the EA runs on H1 for XAUUSD, EURUSD or EURJPY with the AUTO preset.
If none apply, open a support ticket and attach the Experts-tab log lines from startup onward.
