Apex Drawdown Zero has no account-level daily-loss or drawdown halt. It protects the account per trade, so the setting that keeps you inside a prop firm's limits is your risk per trade.

The settings that matter

  • RiskPercent (default 1.0) — the share of your balance at risk on each trade. The stop-loss is attached at entry and the lot size is calculated from it.
  • MaxLots (default 0 = off) — an optional hard cap on the lot size of any single trade.
  • OneTradePerDay / StopAfterWin (both on) — at most one trade a day, and none after a win.
  • UseBreakEven (on, at 0.60) — moves the stop to entry once the trade has run 60% of the way to target.
  • MaxSpreadPoints (350) — skips entries when the spread is wider than this.

Sizing against your firm's limits

Work out how many losing trades in a row your firm's daily and overall limits allow. At 1% per trade, five losses in a row costs roughly 5% — the full daily limit at most firms. If your firm allows 5% daily / 10% overall, 0.5% per trade leaves a comfortable buffer.

Gaps and slippage

A stop-loss cannot guarantee its price during gaps, fast markets or outages. Leave room for that — never size so that the last losing trade in a streak lands exactly on the firm's limit.
